There would never be enough time if I were to share all the amazing memories I have had with my Dad (and Mom).

From cleaning bird aviaries, fixing cars, collecting waste paper, ministering at Place of Safety and having the privilege of a career in the jewellery business with them.

Everything he did there was a lesson to be learnt connected to the word of God. “If you plant potatoes, potatoes will grow – what you sow you reap.”

Everything my Dad did he did from his heart. If there is one legacy he left us it was to be kind, love and care for people as Christ did.

All these memories we hold very dear to our hearts and share for the rest of our lives.

I am so grateful to Val and Joe for looking after Dad right to the end of his life. And to Laureen who cared for him many years while she was in SA. You both gave up so much and we really appreciate it.

Dad / Oupa rest in peace in your heavenly home with Ouma.
